Founded in 2009 in Kerken, Germany, AEGROR have created a dark, immersive universe where sound, storytelling, and visual identity merge into one coherent vision. Their name is derived from the Latin word for “disease” — and that is exactly where their world begins.

Musically, the band moves between atmospheric black metal, progressive structures, and melodic depth. But AEGROR do not follow genre rules. Every track is part of a larger narrative.

At the center stands the *Plaguebreeder* — an interdimensional entity attempting to enter the human world. This concept does not end with the music. It continues on stage, turning each live performance into an intense, almost cinematic experience.

Since their debut *De Morbis* (2010), followed by *Forgotten Tales* (2013) and *Dead Man’s Diary* (2017), the band has continuously evolved. With *Reign of Disease* (2025), AEGROR reached a new level: international recognition, chart placements, and a growing presence beyond the European underground.

Despite this progression, their core remains unchanged: vision, consistency, and artistic integrity.
