Amystery is a black metal band from the Bad Tölz / Miesbach area in Upper Bavaria, Germany, active since 2001. Deeply rooted in the German underground, the band stands for uncompromising, traditional black metal, deliberately rejecting trends, modern embellishments, and stylistic concessions.

From the very beginning, Amystery have been defined by a raw and sinister sonic aesthetic paired with a clear ideological direction. Cold riffs, aggressive vocals, and a ritualistic atmosphere form the foundation of their sound. Lyrically, the band explores themes of occultism, Satanism, and existential darkness, approached with seriousness and conviction rather than theatrical excess.

Following several early releases and the album All Hail The Cult (2010), the band entered a prolonged period of silence. This phase was not an ending, but a deliberate withdrawal. During the years that followed, Amystery reformed, regrouped, and refocused on the essence of their music: pure, unfiltered black metal.

With the release of Chaos Empire Satan, the band finally returned with their first full-length studio album in more than a decade. Released via Folter Records, the album is not a nostalgic revival, but a determined continuation of their core ideals. The sound remains raw, aggressive, and direct, shaped by experience and an unwavering dedication to the origins of the genre.

Today, Amystery stand for authenticity, consistency, and conviction. On stage, the band delivers an intense and uncompromising presence, best experienced in underground clubs, intimate venues, and select festivals. Amystery represent black metal as a belief. Unyielding, dark, and resolute.
