Ewigeis were formed in 2008 and have since stood for uncompromising German black metal. Cold, raw and atmospheric. Stripped of ornamentation, free of trends and false drama. Their music is honest, direct and driven by a clear mindset.

Over the years, the trio have forged a distinct sound of their own. Icy in atmosphere, grounded in execution and consistent in intent. Traditional influences merge with a clear signature that seeks substance rather than effect.

EWIGEIS draw on more than two decades of live experience and understand black metal beyond pose and surface. The band moves confidently through underground clubs, basements and festival stages, delivering performances shaped by conviction rather than staging.

Currently, EWIGEIS have entered a new creative phase. New material is planned for autumn 2026, continuing the band’s unwavering commitment to a cold and unadorned core.
