In a constant dance between life and death, the music of Mellom unfolds.
Transience, human weakness, loss and the many shades of grief lie at the core of their work. “Mellom” is Norwegian for between – exactly the space their music inhabits.

Formed in Frankfurt am Main in 2023, the female-fronted duo combines elements of Black and Death Metal with atmospheric and ethereal passages. Massive walls of guitar and bass meet driving drums, topped by rasping vocals, reinforced by deep and expansive growls.

MELLOM consist of the distinctive voice of Skadi and guitarist Dave (Discreation, Odium). Their debut album “The Empire of Gloom” was created with renowned figures from the scene and represents a dense, serious and uncompromising artistic vision.
